Stacey Bauer A.M.I., M.Ed., B.A.
Founder, Administrator, Directress
Stacey is the founder and owner of Four Seasons Montessori School. She received her B.A. in Music with a Minor in
Sociology from Bishop’s University in Lennoxville, Quebec. She holds her A.M.I. (Association Montessori
Internationale) Diploma from the Washington Montessori Institute which was the first Montessori teacher training
centre in North America. Association Montessori Internationale was started by Dr. Maria Montessori and is considered
to be the most strict and rigorous forms of Montessori teacher training. After completing her A.M.I. teacher training
she received her M. Ed. from Loyola College in Maryland.
Before opening the school 5 years ago she traveled to the United States to attend many conferences through the North
American Montessori Teachers Association. She has also attended conferences in Toronto through the Canadian
Association for Montessori Teachers. These conferences have been an asset as she has met several Montessori teachers
with all levels of experience as well as those who have opened their own school. Stacey has maintained friendships
with many of the people she met at conferences and they will be excellent resources for the school.
Stacey attended Montessori school when she was a child and has always dreamed of opening her own school. Now her
dream has finally come true and she is absolutely thrilled!
